29 września pracownicy Towarzystwa Przyjaciół Niepełnosprawnych oraz uczestnicy naszych ośrodków wybrali się na pielgrzymkę do Watykanu w związku z konsystorzem, który miał miejsce 30 września. Uroczystości odbyły się na placu Świętego Piotra, gdzie papież Franciszek wręczył insygnia 21 nowym kardynałom, w tym arcybiskupowi metropolicie łódzkiemu Grzegorzowi Rysiowi. Uczestnicy pielgrzymki wzięli także udział w ekumenicznym czuwaniu na placu Świętego Piotra, zwiedzili również muzeum – Zamek Świętego Anioła, kościół świętej Agnieszki oraz spędzili kilka chwil nad Morzem Tyrreńskim.
